This policy applies to ProofKit - Your Unique Diary (Korean store listing name: 푸킷 - 세상에 하나뿐인 일기장, package name: com.smoothie.proofkit, the “Service”), an app published on Google Play and the App Store by CreapySmoothie (registered business name: 무시무시한스무디).
We take your personal information seriously and comply with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable law. This policy explains what personal information the Service collects and how it is used, stored and destroyed.

Note on the 26 September 2026 update — features that had shipped in the app were not reflected in this policy. We corrected the following: added Facebook and LINE as sign-in methods (1-1); stated that app usage records (analytics) are collected and sent to Meta (1-3, 4, 5); and described how purchase tokens are handled now that the paid Pro subscription exists (1-6, 2, 3).
You can sign in to the Service in the following ways.
| Sign-in method | What is collected |
|---|---|
| Email address, password | |
| Account identifier, email, profile name | |
| Apple | Account identifier, email (may be a private relay address), profile name (where provided on first sign-in) |
| Kakao | Account identifier, profile nickname |
| Account identifier, email, profile name | |
| LINE | Account identifier, profile name |
When you sign in, a unique identifier (UID) is generated and stored so the Service can tell users apart internally.
We do not hold your password. For email sign-in, the password is kept by our authentication processor (Google LLC, Firebase Authentication) in a form that cannot be decrypted, and the Service operator cannot look up your password. Social sign-in does not collect a password at all.
Records and photos are visible to the participants you invited to the same space. The whole point of the Service is that several people build one set of records together, so anyone who has joined a space can see all of that space's records and photos.
We collect location (GPS coordinates) only if you turn on one of the two features below. Both are off by default and must be turned on by you, per space.
Only if you turn on health app integration in a diet/weight space or a workout space do we exchange data with Health Connect on Android or the Health app on iPhone, as follows. It is off by default and must be turned on per space.
Data exchanged this way is stored in Health Connect (Android) or the Health app (iOS) on your device, and any later handling follows the policies of each platform provider (Google, Apple). The Service operator does not separately collect or store this data on a server.
We do not use collected personal information for any purpose beyond those above, and we do not sell it to third parties.
The records, photos and display names you leave in a space are not used for advertising and are not passed to ad providers. What ad providers receive is the advertising identifier and device/network information from section 1-3, plus the name of the action (for example, “space created”) — not what you wrote in that record.
As a rule, we destroy information without delay once the purpose of use is achieved.
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account information | Until you delete your account |
| Records and photos | Until the space in question is deleted |
| Enquiries | 3 years after the reply is completed (deleted immediately on account deletion) |
| Push notification token | Until you turn notifications off or delete the app |
| Purchase token and subscription status | Until you delete your account (to the extent needed to handle payment disputes and refunds) |
| App usage records (analytics) | Per Google Analytics retention settings (up to 14 months) |
The Service does not provide your personal information to third parties except as set out below.
| Recipient | What is provided | Purpose | Retention/use period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (AdMob) | Advertising identifier, device/network information (section 1-3) | Serving in-app ads and measuring performance | Per the ad provider's policy |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Some actions from app usage records (sign-up, creating a space, starting a subscription and similar), advertising identifier (on iOS, only where app tracking was allowed), device/network information | Measuring who installed and used the app after seeing a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad | Per Meta's policy |
How AdMob handles personal information is set out at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and how Meta handles it at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Other participants in the same space seeing your records, photos and display name is not provision to a third party — it is the Service working as intended (see 1-2).
To run the Service reliably we entrust the processing of personal information as follows, and personal information is accordingly transferred outside the Republic of Korea.
| Processor | Entrusted work | Destination country | Method of transfer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Firebase) | Member authentication, data storage, photo storage, push notifications, running server functions | United States | Transmitted over the network when the Service is used |
| Google LLC (AdMob) | Serving in-app ads and measuring performance | United States | Transmitted over the network when an ad is shown |
| Kakao | Kakao sign-in authentication | Republic of Korea | Transmitted over the network at sign-in |
| Apple Inc. | Apple sign-in authentication | United States | Transmitted over the network at sign-in |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Facebook sign-in authentication, ad performance measurement | United States | Transmitted over the network at sign-in and while using the app |
| LY Corporation | LINE sign-in authentication | Japan | Transmitted over the network at sign-in |
The Service's data is stored in the Google Cloud United States region (us-central1).
You may refuse transfer abroad, but if you do you cannot use the core features of the Service (account sign-in, storing and sharing records, notifications).
You can exercise the following rights at any time.
| Right | How |
|---|---|
| Change your display name | App → My Page → pencil icon next to your name |
| Delete a space and the records and photos in it | App → space card menu → Delete space (owner only) |
| Leave a particular space | App → space card menu → Leave space |
| Opt out of notifications | App → My Page → notification settings, or device settings |
| Delete your account | App → My Page → account card → Delete account |
| Other requests to access, correct or suspend processing | App → My Page → Contact us, or the contact details below |
The following are deleted immediately and irreversibly.
However, records you left in spaces created by others are not deleted. They were built up by several people together, so deleting them because one person left would damage the other participants' records (the same reasoning as “leaving a space” in section 3). If you want those records gone too, ask that space's owner to delete them before you delete your account.
The Service is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 14, we destroy it without delay.
Please contact us below with any questions, complaints or requests for remedy regarding the handling of personal information.
If you need to report or get advice about a privacy infringement, you can contact the following Korean authorities.
If this policy changes, we will give notice of the change in advance through an in-app announcement or this page. Changes that materially affect your rights will be announced at least 30 days beforehand.
